Once the guided layout is selected for the portal homepage, three metadata are chosen to refine a search:
If the metadata labels had been set before for a Simple Homepage, label settings are kept for the Guided homepage.
If no labels are defined for the metadata, their ID is displayed on the homepage.
The search bar and library are both set to be always displayed. There is no need to select a facet value for them to be displayed.
This configuration is displayed as follows on the portal:
A content language selector is available as the corpus consists of French and English content.
The first facet, Audience, is shown to users. Once the Novice value is selected, the Category facet is displayed. Only when a value is selected for this facet, the next facet, Version, is displayed.
In the library, document tiles are refined according to the selected facet values.
