By default, Fluid Topics logs a user out of the portal after 30 minutes of inactivity. Users who want to regain access to the portal must then sign in again.

Selecting the check box in the Authentication timeout section of the Authentication administration interface makes it possible to define if and when Fluid Topics should trigger a user session timeout.

Modifying the authentication timeout parameter has no impact on Analytics sessions.
