It is possible to manually create a new metadata key for indexation before uploading the related content to Fluid Topics.

This can be useful to set up a portal before uploading content. The metadata values are already searchable when the content is uploaded. There is no time gap for end-users.

  1. Click the New configuration button.

    The New configuration popup opens up:

  2. Type the name of the metadata key. It corresponds to the name of the metadata element as used in the content.
  3. Tick the Index values option for Fluid Topics to index all the values of this metadata key.
  4. Click Create.

The new metadata key is now displayed in the list of the portal metadata.

Publish content using this metadata to see its values in the metadata list.
