The HTML export for shared Personal Books option is used to indicate if the HTML export is allowed for shared Personal Books on the portal.

ADMIN and PORTAL_ADMIN users can enable or disable this option by selecting or clearing the following checkbox:

HTML export for Shared books option is disabled

  • If enabled, the HTML export of shared Personal Books is enabled for all signed-in users.
  • If disabled, the HTML export of shared Personal Books is not allowed on the portal. Even if this option is disabled, HTML export can still be enabled using user roles.

This option is disabled by default.

Example

John sends to Jane this URL to share with her one of his personal books: http://myportal.fluidtopics.net/reader/shared/cadf4985-5578-4f31-8df1-c04a7f6d8076/root

When Jane opens the newly received document, she would like to export this content to easily access it later.

The "HTML export for shared books" option is enabled on the portal.

Jane's Reader page provides a Share tab:

HTML export is allowed for this shared PBK

When clicking Share, she is allowed to export the book in HTML.

This shared book can be exported in HTML
