The user authentication timeout on a Fluid Topics Portal is set to 30 min by default. It is possible to customize the timeout delay to avoid the end users to sign in again after 30 min of inactivity.

The timeout delay must be greater or equal to 30 min. The option can also be disabled and the users will stay indefinitely signed in until they manually sign out.

  1. In Administration > Users > Authentication, go to the Authentication timeout section.
  2. Enter the duration of the new timeout delay, or uncheck the option to disable the sign out on inactivity.

The authentication timeout modifications have no impact on the Analytics sessions.
