Phrase search on Fluid Topics works by adding quotes to the searched term, as in the following example:
- Searching for Query Engine returns 146 results. This query returned all topics containing at least Query and/or Engine.
- Searching for "Query Engine" returns 100 results. The use of quotes to perform an exact search returned only topics containing the words Query and Engine found in this order. For example, this query would not return topics where the phrase "engine query" would be found.
Returned results take into account the case where the terms of exact searches match an entry of the vocabulary. For example, if the following entry is in the vocabulary: "Query Engine" = "QEng", the "Query Engine" exact search returns results for "QEng" as well.
Phrase search is case sensitive and will exclusively return exact matches.
