Depending on the configuration of the portal, the tabs available in the sidebar may include the following:

  • A Table of contents to quickly navigate within a document. The current topic is highlighted.
  • Search in document to search for keywords within the current document.
  • Related links to see topics about similar or connected subjects.
  • Map attachments to see the resources attached to the document.
  • Bookmarks to see all topics a user has bookmarked in the current document.
  • Collections to add the current book or topic to an existing collection or create a new collection (only available to users with the COLLECTION_USER role).
  • Document metrics to consult view analytics for the current book or topic (only available to users with the ANALYTICS_USER role).

The availability of each tab in the sidebar depends on which features an administrator has activated for the portal and which assets the user has created.

Select the expander arrow at the bottom of the sidebar to expand (>>) or collapse (<<) it.

An additional tab, Document properties, is available to users who cannot access the new Reader page. More information about this tab is available in the previous version of this document (3.6).
