A session is automatically generated when a human or bot starts using a Fluid Topics portal. The session keeps running as long as the product is actively used.
Fluid Topics also generates a user session when an anonymous user who is not logged in uses a portal.
If a user begins a session without logging in, the same user session is kept if they later authenticate.
