Each day, Fluid Topics stores logs about user traffic to make actionable metrics available to users with the ADMIN
or ANALYTICS_USER
role.
In the User traffic page of the Analytics dashboard, authorized users can view the number of authenticated users who accessed the portal or a public API as follows:
Where:
- Options to filter data by day, week, or month.
- A button to download user analytics.
- The Active users section showing the number of authenticated users who accessed the portal or a public API during the selected period and for the selected realm(s).
- Options to filter data by realm.
- A button to view data as a stacked graph or as a line graph.
- The Total users section showing the number of users registered for the selected realm(s).
- A slide selector to view data for a specific period.
- A slide selector to view a specific subset of data.
- Holding the pointer over a point in the chart displays the exact number of authenticated users during the corresponding period, grouped by realm.
- Selecting the name of a realm adds it to or removes it from the corresponding graph.
- The data is based on the number of HTTP requests by authenticated users through browsers or the API.
- The number of active users over the course of a week is not equal to the sum of users for each day of that week because each user must be unique.
