Knowledge Hub - Fluid Topics - Latest

In the Knowledge Hub section of the Analytics dashboard, users with the ADMIN or ANALYTICS_USER role can gain insight about content creation and consumption.

To track content consumption, Fluid Topics logs a single view when a user accesses one of the following types of content:

• Structured content in the Reader page
• Unstructured content in the Viewer page
• Shared personal books

Examples

1. If a user accesses a document, reads a topic four times, leaves the document, and then accesses the same document and reads the topic again, Fluid Topics logs two views for the topic.

2. If a user scrolls to another part of the document and then comes back to a topic and reads it again, the number of views does not change. In fact, only leaving the document in every tab and accessing it again causes the number of views to change.

Each day, Fluid Topics transforms these logs into actionable metrics that provide a foundation for the following tabs of the Analytics dashboard:

• Content usage
• Content inventory
• Document views
• Topic views
• Document ratings
• Topic ratings
