It is possible to print topics in different sections of the user interface as follows:
The introduction of the Title bar, Cover page, Document shortcut menu, Topic shortcut menu, and Switch to relatives feature significantly changes the appearance of the Reader page. These changes require configuration by an administrator. If this condition is not met, the Reader page will keep its legacy appearance. Information about navigating the legacy Reader page is available in previous versions of this document.
- By selecting the Print topics button in the Topic shortcut menu (parent topic and its children automatically selected for printing).
- By selecting the Print button in the Document shortcut menu (all topics automatically selected).
- By selecting the Print button in the Cover page (all topics automatically selected).
After selecting one or more topics, selecting the Print button opens the browser's print dialog with a preview of the generated PDF file.
It is not possible to include a header or footer in the generated PDF file, even if they are configured in the pdf_template.vm file.
