The list of search results available in the Search page is ordered by decreasing relevance. Fluid Topics displays the documents which most closely match the user's keyword(s) first.

  1. If two or more results are equally relevant, their order is defined by the following rules:
    1. Books/Unstructured Documents are displayed depending on their:
      • Title
      • Last edition date
    2. Articles are displayed depending on their:
      • Title
      • Last edition date
    3. Topics are displayed depending on their:
      • Title
      • Title of the document to which they belong
      • Last edition date

Examples

  • If a topic and a book are equally relevant, the book title is displayed first.
  • If publications are all equally relevant:
    1. Books and Unstructured Documents are displayed, first in alphabetical order, then by last edition date.
    2. Articles are then displayed, first in alphabetical order, and then by last edition date.
    3. And finally Topics are displayed, first in alphabetical order, and then by last edition date.
