The Switch to relatives feature makes it possible to quickly switch from one version of a document to another by selecting metadata within the document itself. Examples include switching between different languages, Operating Systems, and product versions.
Since not all metadata are a good candidate for the Switch to relatives feature, administrators enable the feature only for selected metadata. This metadata is displayed as a menu in the Title bar of the Reader page for structured documents and the Viewer page for unstructured documents. Each menu serves as a facet to filter on whichever version of the document the user wishes to target.
