Version
3.9

The main keyword of this version is “strengthening.” We are blazing a trail through the Content Delivery Platform market, having provided a new perspective on how to bring content to users in a smarter way. But innovation must resonate with usage and adoption to create value. With this in mind, we’ve dedicated these past few months exclusively to listening to your feedback and improving existing or recently released features:

  1. New Reader page design with enhancements such as switch to relatives, a title bar, the cover page, and contextual menus.
  2. Offline mode improvements, including full-text search and facets for filtering.
  3. Pretty URL: displayed in the address bar, an improved generator with the possibility of defining multiple templates to automatically create pretty URLs based on document and topic metadata.
  4. Analytics: a new Content Usage data viz to analyze popular documents by metadata, along with a revised date picker.
  5. More public APIs to automate user asset management (bookmarks, collections, saved searches, alerts), as well as retrieve Analytics data.
  6. New connectors to ingest structured content or transform unstructured documents.
  7. Admin: a new interface to configure authentication realms.

But that’s not all. Version 3.9 unveils a sheer revolution in search technology. It ships with the beta version of our new adaptative ranking engine that learns and delivers personalized results. Taruqa (that’s its code name) is the result of 5 years of research and development; it will be thoroughly presented in the upcoming weeks.
