Users can use the Conditional visibility component to make content only visible to some users, according to selected criteria.
The criteria available to all designers are:
- Unauthenticated / authenticated users
- User roles
- Interface language
- Document metadata
- Content language
- Feature availability
The criteria only available for the Reader designer are:
- Document metadata
- Content language
- Feature availability
The criteria only available for the Search Results designer are:
- If a search results list is empty or not.
- If the Saved searches component is empty or not.
The Conditional visibility component only hides content using CSS (display: none). Hidden content exists in the HTML source code of a page.
It is not possible to configure the Conditional visibility component to be exclusively visible by a user group.
When designing a page, select the Conditional visibility highlight at the bottom of the screen to preview the page based on the Preview configuration.
