Fluid Topics currently supports both TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3. However, TLS 1.2 will be deprecated with the release of version 5.2, scheduled for October 2025.

Why Upgrade to TLS 1.3?

TLS 1.3 offers significant benefits for securing online communications, including:

  • Improved Security: Stronger encryption methods and removal of outdated algorithms.

  • Faster Connections: Reduced latency and more efficient key exchange for quicker, more secure connections.

  • Simplified Configuration: Fewer configuration options to minimize the risk of misconfigurations.

Considerations

Please note that older web browsers (which are already unsupported by Fluid Topics) may not be compatible with TLS 1.3. This includes versions prior to Chrome 70, Firefox 63, Safari 12.1, and Internet Explorer.

Upgrading to TLS 1.3 is essential for maintaining secure communications in today's digital landscape. We encourage you to migrate to the new version as soon as possible. If you have any questions or need assistance with the transition, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
