Introducing the enhanced Content Access Rules module, designed to provide greater flexibility in managing secured access to documents. It is now possible to combine multiple metadata fields and values within a single rule, providing more precise control over document visibility.

Additionally, the updated interface allows administrators to save their work without immediately applying the rules to a portal, ensuring flexibility to finalize settings before going live.

Fluid Topics 'Access rules' interface. A line below the title says 'Allow user groups to access specific documents based on their metadata'. The top section includes a search bar with options to filter by name, metadata, or group, and buttons for filtering by metadata, values, or groups. A 'New access rule' button is on the upper right. Below, a table lists access rules with columns for 'Rule name', 'Metadata', 'Authorized groups', 'Last update', 'Author', and 'Status'. A 'Default rule' is shown, authorized for 'Authenticated' groups, last updated on 24/09/2024. Status is active, with edit options available. At the bottom, there's an 'Apply and reprocess' button.

It provides options for 'Authorized groups': available to everyone, restricted to authenticated users, restricted to specific groups, or automatically binding metadata values to groups. Metadata requirements allow setting conditions such as 'match any' or 'match all', with fields for 'Metadata key' and 'Metadata values'. A button at the bottom lets users add additional metadata requirements. Options to 'Discard' or 'Save' are at the bottom right.
