The Microsoft Excel connector transforms Excel content (.xlsx
files) into documents accessible on a Fluid Topics portal.
The name of a document is the file name (minus the extension).
Each sheet of a spreadsheet becomes a different topic. The name of topics is the name of the sheets of a spreadsheet in Excel.
- The Excel connector only supports the Excel Workbook format. The Excel connector does not support the Strict Open XML Spreadsheet format.
- The Excel connector has size limitations:
- For rows, it can publish the first 1,000. If a sheet has more than 10,000 rows, the connector ignores it.
- For columns, it can publish the first 100. If a sheet has more than 20,000 columns, the connector ignores it.
