Image guidelines - Fluid Topics - Latest

Follow these image guidelines to optimize portal performance:

1. Use the JPG, PNG, and GIF formats for regular images.

2. Use the SVG format for vector images.

   Fluid Topics converts large SVG files into smaller PNG files to improve loading time (except for SVG images with Japanese characters).

3. Avoid using images bigger than 3000 pixels (width) by 3000 pixels (height). Beyond these dimensions, image quality deteriorates.

4. For image resolution, use 72 or 90 DPI. The higher the resolution, the longer it takes Fluid Topics to upload an image.
5. Use the RGB color model. Fluid Topics does not support the CMYK color model. Original colors may be rendered incorrectly.
