Portal administrator role - Fluid Topics - Latest

Users with the PORTAL_ADMIN role can access the following sections of the Administration interface:

• Portal

  Users with the PORTAL_ADMIN role cannot access the Security tab of the Portal administration interface. Only ADMIN users can access this tab.

• Design

  • A user with the ADMIN role must deactivate the Custom components toggle to let users with the PORTAL_ADMIN role use the Design menus.
  • If the toggle was enabled on a portal before the release of Fluid Topics v4.3.45, PORTAL_ADMIN users lost access to the Design feature.

• Authentication: only the General tab.

In these sections, they can, for example:

• Choose whether a portal uses classic or designed pages.
• Create designed pages.
• Manage the portal's content styles.
