There are two ways to add an image or other media file to a personal topic:

From the web.

From the user's disk.
Add an image from the web
It is possible to add an image from the web, as follows:

Open the image file in a web browser.

Copy its address.

In the Write a personal topic drawer, select Insert/Edit Image, as follows:
The Insert/Edit Image window opens.

In the Source field, paste the image's URL.

Select OK.
When the editor successfully recognizes the image's URL, it automatically proposes dimensions that can be modified if desired.
Add a video from the web
It is possible to add a video from the web to a personal topic, as follows:

Open the video file in a web browser.

Copy its address.

In the Write a personal topic drawer, select Insert/Edit Media, as follows:
The Insert/Edit Media window opens. By default, the General tab is selected.

In the Source field, paste the image's URL.

Select OK.
When the editor successfully recognizes the video's URL, it automatically proposes dimensions that can be modified if desired.
