In the Filter results section of the Search preferences tab, users can perform the following actions:
- Configure filters to apply to every search query.
- View filters configured by an administrator.
Selecting Modify displays the Modify filters window with the following components:
- The number of matching results for the selected filters.
- Menus listing the available filters for each metadata key.
- A button to clear all filters.
After saving a custom configuration, the selected filters appear in the Filter results section, as follows:
Selecting Reset applies the default configuration and removes all custom filters.
To use metadata as a filter, first add it to the Search page facets section located in the Search tab of the Administration menu's Portal tab.
