To perform certain actions, the ftpub tool needs to have one of the following user roles:

  • ADMIN
  • KHUB_ADMIN
  • CONTENT_PUBLISHER

The arguments requiring one of these roles are as follows:

  • publish
  • list_sources
  • remove

The arguments which require authentication credentials offer the following means to provide them:

  1. Authenticate using one of the following command line options:

    • -u <user> and -p <password>
    • -a <apikey>

  2. Authenticate using environment variables.
