The Content component displays the current document's content.
It is possible to select a topic template to use to style individual topics displayed by the Content component.
- By default, the Content component uses the Default topic topic template.
- By default, both the Document title component and top-level document headings create
<h1>elements. This does not accurately reflect the structure of a document. By selecting the Shift heading level down option, all document headings move down one level (<h1>becomes<h2>,<h2>becomes<h3>, etc.). This ensures correct heading hierarchy when a document title is present.
Checking the Disable context interactions option deactivates other components interactions with the Content component.
These interactions include:
- The synchronization of the Table of contents or Mini TOC component with the Content component
- The ability to go to results in the Content component from the Built-in search in document or Search results component
- The highlighting of keywords in the Content component by the Built-in search in document component
