The Built-in search in document component allows users to search the currently open document.

When a user enters a query, Fluid Topics highlights occurrences of the search terms in the content.

Users with the ADMIN or PORTAL_ADMIN role can configure the Built-in search in document component to hide parts of the document search results.

In the Clear button section of the Built-in search in document configuration panel, select from the following options:

  • Clear search bar only: keeps the keywords highlighted after clearing the search bar.
  • Clear both search bar and results: removes the keywords highlight when clearing the search bar.

Designers should set at least one of the following three options: Title, Breadcrumb, or Abstract.

It is possible to change the highlight color by modifying the CSS variable of the Highlight background color field, located in the Custom section of the Styles tab.
