The following image is an example of a Guided layout:

Web interface of Antidot Technical Publications portal for accessing documentation. At the top, there's a section to define the search context with options for audience selection: 'External', 'Internal', or 'Public'. Below, a search bar is provided for keyword searches. The language dropdown is set to English. Further down, there's a section titled 'Or browse books' with listed documents such as 'Antora Connector Configuration Guide', 'API calls', and 'Automatic Release Notes from Jira to Fluid Topics', indicated as public resources.

It is possible to configure a guided search experience for the Homepage as follows:

  1. In the Homepage administration interface, under the Select a homepage layout section, select the Guided layout.

  2. Select the Search tab, and configure the facets to display on the Homepage as in the following example:

A user interface for selecting and ordering search facets. Four listed facets include 'Product', 'FT_Version', 'Category', and 'audience', each with icons for settings, moving up or down, and removal. Below, a dropdown menu labeled 'Add metadata' with 'AFS_Version' selected, a plus icon for adding, and a link to 'create new.' Indicators are numbered for explanations: 1 next to the plus icon, 2 next to 'create new, 3 next to the settings gear, 4 next to the up and down arrows, and 5 next to the remove icon.

Where:

  1. A button to add an existing facet to those made available to users on the Homepage.

  2. A button to create a new facet.

  3. A button to configure the label to display for each facet according to the language selected for the Fluid Topics interface.

  4. Arrows to define In which order facets are presented to the user.

  5. A button to remove a facet.

In the Define when search bar and library will be displayed section, it is possible to choose an option from each menu to make either the search bar or the library appear only after a user selects a certain facet.
