In the Rules section of the Rating administration interface, it is possible to customize the experience of users who are authorized to rate content as follows:

  1. Select Add rule, then select Configure rule to open the Configure rule drawer.

  2. In the Document rating type menu and/or the Topic rating type menu(s), select a rating type for one or both. The available types are Stars, Like, Dichotomous and No rating.

  3. If selecting a rating type for topics, configure the rating zone for one or more levels.

  4. Select Save.

Configure different types of rating based on document metadata

It is possible to configure different rating experiences for different types of content as follows:

  1. In the Configure rule drawer, select Add metadata requirement to open the Add metadata requirement drawer.

  2. In the Require this metadata menu, select the metadata key that is shared by all documents that should have this rating type.

  3. In the With this value menu, select the value of the metadata key that is shared by all documents that should have this rating type.

  4. Select Save in the Add metadata requirement drawer.

  5. If desired, add more rules, this time selecting different rating types and targeting other sets of documents that share the same metadata.

  6. Select Save in the Rating administration interface.
