Limitations - Fluid Topics - Latest

Limitations apply to specific import categories:

Feature	Limitation description
Access rules	Fluid Topics only imports active access rules (not new access rules). If the importing portal uses enhanced access rules, while the origin portal uses legacy access rules, the import fails.
Custom JavaScript	If the script has hard-coded URLs that reference the origin portal, the Custom JavaScript may not work on the importing portal.
Enrich and Clean	Selecting the Enrich and Clean category automatically selects the Vocabularies category.
Languages	It is not possible to select specific languages to import. Fluid Topics imports all portal-XXX-messages.xml and custom-XXX-messages.xml language files.
Pretty URL	Fluid Topics only imports saved templates (not draft saved templates).
Print templates	If the print template has hard-coded URLs that reference the origin portal, the print template may not work on the importing portal.
Sources	Fluid Topics does not import permissions given to specific users or API keys. If the origin portal has a source type which is not available to the importing portal, importing sources is not possible. Get in touch with a Fluid Topics representative for help.
Vocabularies	Back-up vocabulary files before importing vocabularies: the import of vocabularies starts by removing all current vocabularies. An error during the import can result in a portal without vocabularies.
