In the Enrich and Clean administration interface, users with the ADMIN or KHUB_ADMIN role can perform the following actions:

  • Generate new facets using existing metadata and taxonomies.

  • Cleanse metadata.

  • Remove duplicates.

  • Reorganize the tagging scheme matching custom taxonomies.

Selecting the Enrich and Clean tab in the Knowledge Hub section of the Administration menu displays this interface as follows:

  1. A button to open the New rule window, where it is possible to apply a vocabulary Vocabularies to an existing facet.

  2. A column displaying the name of the original metadata.

  3. A column displaying the name of the taxonomy applied to the metadata.

  4. A column displaying the name of the newly generated metadata.

  5. A column displaying a check box to define whether the newly generated metadata is a hierarchical facet.

  6. A column displaying a check box to define whether the newly generated metadata displays or removes values not entered in the applied taxonomy.

  7. A button to delete an enrichment.

The Enrich and Clean administrative interface is not fully enabled until administrators define at least one vocabulary in the Vocabularies administration interface. For example, the New rule button is disabled if no vocabulary exists.

It is possible to launch a reprocess job at any time by selecting the Reprocess button in the Enrich and Clean administration interface. Reprocessing content can take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours, depending on the size of the corpus. New uploads remain on hold until the reprocessed job finishes.
