Create a translation profile - Fluid Topics - Latest

Use translation profiles for translation tasks.

To create a translation profile:

1. Select New profile.

   • Select Translation.

2. Enter or select:

   • A name.

     The profile name and ID must be different from existing profiles.

   • A unique profile ID.

   • A provider: choose from DeepL Pro, Intento, or Phrase.
   • For Intento profiles: Choose a translation engine, or leave the field empty to use Intento's Smart Routing. In this case, Intento chooses a translation engine automatically.
   • An API key from the provider, or OAuth 2.0 client credentials.

   • For Phrase profiles: A username and password, as well as an authentication URL, optionally.

     The default authentication URL is https://eu.phrase.com/smt/api.

3. Optional: Enter advanced settings.

4. Select Save.

Once created, ADMIN users can copy the translation profile ID to use in AI features.

Translation AI features include:

• The On-demand translation component
• The Translate text web service
• The Translate a topic web service
• The Translation JavaScript method for Custom components
