Installing Fluid Topics consists in performing the following steps for one or more tenants:

  • Installing packages containing components
  • Configuring the software (indexing servers, reply environments, etc.)

A tenant is an entity whose name is defined in one of the following ways:

  • By combining a service ID and a status. For example, a tenant named 70XXX - beta draws its name from the service ID 70XXX and the fact that the status of its portal is beta.
  • By using the tenant ID, which is more human-friendly as it can be the name of a company.

Fluid Topics supports multitenancy, as illustrated in the following image:

It is possible to create an unlimited number of tenants.
