The identifier used for the portal administrator role is PORTAL_ADMIN.
The PORTAL_ADMIN user role grants access to the following tabs of the Portal administration interface:
- General
- Asset library
- Theme
- Content styles
- Homepage
- Search page
- Reader page
- Languages
- Related links
- Print templates
- Offline
The PORTAL_ADMIN user role also grants access to the following tabs of the Design administration interface:
- Home and Custom designer
- Search results designer
- Reader designer
- Shared component designer
- Upload/Download
- Users with the PORTAL_ADMIN user role can also access the General tab of the Authentication administration interface.
- Users with the PORTAL_ADMIN user role cannot access the Security or Feature toggles tab of the Portal administration interface. Only ADMIN users can access these tabs.
