In the Search bars section of the Search tab, authorized administrators can select one or both of the following options:
- Search in current document to display a search bar in the sidebar of the Reader page (when the user is accessing the application in Desktop mode). End-users can enter a query in this search bar to look for matches in the document currently open in the Reader page.
- Search in all documents to display a search bar in the header of the Reader page (when the user is accessing the application in Desktop mode). End-users can enter a query in this search bar to look for matches in any publication uploaded to the portal's Knowledge Hub.
- The Search in current document option is selected by default.
- The Search in all documents option is only available if the Search improvements toggle is enabled in the Feature toggles administration interface.
- This topic describes the user's experience when using the application in desktop mode. In mobile mode, users can access both search bars by selecting the Search button in the portal's header.
