The search scope feature makes it possible to save all filter values for a given search query.

In future searches, select the scope you want so you do not have to select the filters again.

To save a new search scope of filtering options

  1. Select the desired filtering options on the control pane of the Search Results page.

    Filtering options can be facets, specific publications, or modification dates.

  2. Click the SCOPE drop-down menu.

  3. Click "Save filters as new search scope".

    The following field appears:

    FT Scope Name

    Where the number of filters and values is indicated.

  4. Enter the name of the new search scope.
  5. Click Save to validate the modifications or on Cancel to return without saving.

To consult an existing search scope in future searches

  1. Click the SCOPE drop-down menu.

  2. Select the desired search scope.

    The search results pane is automatically updated with the documentation matching the new filtering options.

To delete an existing search scope

  1. Click the SCOPE drop-down menu.

  2. Select the desired search scope.
  3. Click "Delete applied scope".

    The selected search scope is instantly deleted.

    The filtering options of the deleted search scope are still active.
