The Search preferences tab of the My account page is composed of the following sections:
The Search preferences tab is only available on portals where an administrator has enabled Taruqa search technology.
- The Authenticated values section, where a Fluid Topics end-user can see if an administrator has configured search preferences for their account.
- The Personal values section, where a Fluid Topics end-user can see which personalized search preferences they have configured and modify as necessary.
Selecting the Change priorities button in the Personal section opens the Change priorities drawer with a list of available filters to always apply to content returned in the Search page.
Example
In the following example, an administrator has configured the Product: Fluid Topics filter as a priority, and the user has configured the Fluid Topics Version: 3.9 and Category: Release Notes as their personal preferences:
Fluid Topics combines the filter in the Authenticated values section with the two filters in the Personal values section and applies all three filters at query time.
