Authorized users can export a Personal book or print topics directly from the Reader page. Both of these actions generate a PDF file.

Selecting the Templates tab in the Portal section of the Administration menu displays an interface where users with the ADMIN or PORTAL_ADMIN role can select templates to apply to this PDF file as follows:

Templates_administration_interface

Where:

  1. A section for configuring the template applied when exporting a Personal Book.
  2. A section for configuring the template applied when printing topics from the Reader page.
  3. A Reset to default button to simultaneously apply the default template to both personal books and topics.

Selecting the Reset to default button removes all existing customized templates.

In both sections, selecting the Upload new template button prompts the user to upload a customized template.

- It is possible to edit and upload a distinct customized template in each section.

- Any headers and footers configured in the template for printing topics from the Reader page are not rendered in the final PDF output. Rather, they are replaced by the browser's default headers and footers. The margin areas can only be customized in the templates for exporting Personal books.

Download links are available to download either the default template or the one currently in use.
