Selecting the Legal Terms tab in the Users section of the Administration menu displays the Legal terms administration interface, where ADMIN and PORTAL_ADMIN users can perform the following actions:
- Enable legal terms
- Define a message prompting users to accept legal terms when signing in to a Fluid Topics portal
- Notify users about updated legal terms
End-users cannot access the portal unless they accept the legal terms.
- If a new user who was created in the internal realm or who signed up by themselves selects Cancel when being prompted to accept the legal terms, their accounts are deleted. It is necessary to recreate the account.
- In the case of SSO accounts, if a user selects Cancel when being prompted to accept the legal terms, the account is automatically recreated and users are prompted to accept the legal terms when signing in again.
- Agreeing to legal terms is part of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements.
