The Front server hosts the following environments with the corresponding packages:
- Reply Environment:
- antidot-afs-httpd
- antidot-fluidtopics-reply
- antidot-fluidtopics-tools
- Web Server Environment:
- antidot-fluidtopics-webserver
- antidot-fluidtopics-tools
In most cases, the Front Server consists in the Reply (AFS) environment with the Content Repository and the Query Manager, and the Fluid Topics web server:
To install the appropriate packages, run the following command:
As root user
yum install antidot-afs-httpd antidot-fluidtopics-reply antidot-fluidtopics-tools antidot-fluidtopics-webserver
In the case of an on-premises installation, install the project-specific package available in your repository. This package is called antidot-svc-ft-$project_name-reply.
This operation may take from a few minutes to an hour depending on your bandwidth.
If several servers are used to host a Front environment (through a load balancer), all servers must ALWAYS be in identical state (packages, versions, configurations, and so on). This requirement implies that any modification done on any element of the server must be done to the other server(s).
