Plain text queries

The 7xxx range is used for every AFS v7 tools:

  • Ports numbers 70xx are used for AFS.
  • Ports numbers 71xx are used for CKS.
  • Ports numbers 72xx are used for Back Office.
  • Ports numbers from 73xx are used for FastCGI. FastCGI used ports are incremented, starting from the given value, for each instance.

For AFS v7 components to behave properly, those ports must not be used on the host.
