When installing Fluid Topics on multiple servers, it is possible to install a MongoDB server by running the following command:
As root user
apt-get install antidot-mongodb
This operation may take from a few minutes to an hour depending on the available bandwidth.
Use case
Once the MongoDB server is installed, one possible database architecture is the following:
- A central Content Repository database to stream content.
- A processing pipeline (PaF) database.
- A database hosting users, user assets, user sessions, and the portal's configuration.
- A database hosting the Administration Center.
Fluid Topics requires at least MongoDB server version 4.2.
