Entering a search query (or submitting an empty search) on the portal's Homepage brings the user to the Search page, where they can perform the following actions:

  • Access tabs in the sidebar.
  • View the number of results matching the current search criteria (search terms and/or filters).
  • Modify the search query.
  • Select a different content language if more than one is available.
  • Sort results by relevance or date of last modification.
  • Copy a link to a list of search results. One user can send the URL to another user. The other user will be able to access some or all of the content, depending on their rights.
  • Save the search for future consultation (only available to users who have the SAVED_SEARCH_USER role).
  • View the titles of matching books, topics, and articles with an icon indicating the content type.
  • View a breadcrumb for each topic.
  • Preview articles and topics.
  • For content with different values for a single metadata key, select a value in a menu listing all variants for that metadata key.
  • For content with different values for several metadata keys, select the Choose among variants button to display the Select variant window as follows:

    Choose a variant drawer

Tags in the Search page show the metadata keys defined for the content. A circle of dashes around a metadata key means that it has several values for the document or topic.

Selecting content in the Search page brings the user to the Reader page, where they can browse the content in context.
