Fluid Topics embeds a standalone user management system. Configuring an internal realm implements this system to display an authentication form when users access a portal.

Users with the ADMIN role can add and configure an internal realm as follows:

  1. Access the Realms tab of the Authentication administration interface.
  2. Select Internal from the Available types menu to open the New realm drawer.
  3. Configure the following parameters:
  4. Optionally, configure profile mappers and search preferences.

- It is not possible to create more than one internal realm.

- In contrast with LDAP and SSO realms, Fluid Topics assigns the realm's identifier automatically.
