Selecting Feedback in the Notifications section of the Administration menu displays the Feedback administration interface, where ADMIN and PORTAL_ADMIN users can configure and preview the template of the feedback email that users and documentation teams receive when users send feedback or rate content.

The interface is composed of the following sections:

- Only users who have the FEEDBACK_USER role can submit feedback.

- All metadata configured to appear in the Reader page for a document will appear in the feedback email about that document. Since certain browsers and email clients limit the length of the feedback email string, feedback email delivery may fail if a relatively large amount of metadata is included in the feedback email string.

- If feedback email delivery fails due to a browser limiting the length of the feedback email string, there are two solutions. The first is to remove unnecessary metadata in the Enrich email subject section of the Feedback administration interface. The second is to remove the length limitation by leaving the default configuration that defines Fluid Topics as the email service in place. Keep in mind that only authenticated users can send feedback when using Fluid Topics as the email service.

- It is possible to assign the FEEDBACK_USER role as a default role to both authenticated and unauthenticated users.

Additional configuration options for notification emails are available in the Theme administration interface (fonts and colors), the General administration interface (footer), and the Languages administration interface (default messages in different languages).
