The Indexing server hosts the data-processing & indexing environment with the corresponding packages:

  • antidot-fluidtopics-indexing
  • antidot-fluidtopics-pafconfig
  • antidot-fluidtopics-pdf-server
  • antidot-fluidtopics-tools

In most cases, the Indexing server embeds the AIF component (PaF Manager and Processing Pipelines, also referred to as PaF), and the Fluid Topics PDF Server:

But it is also possible to locate the Fluid Topics PDF Server on another server, like the Front server:

The Indexing environment can be split between several servers

Before installing the Indexing environment, restart the Update Manager on the Back Office environment by running the following command:

As root user

yum reinstall antidot-afs-updatemanager

To install the appropriate packages for the Indexing environment, run the following command:

As root user

yum install antidot-fluidtopics-indexing antidot-fluidtopics-pafconfig antidot-fluidtopics-tools antidot-fluidtopics-pdf-server

In the case of an on-premises installation, install the project-specific package available in your repository. This package is called antidot-svc-ft-$project_name-idx.

This operation may take from a few minutes to an hour depending on your bandwidth.
