Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) is not compatible by default with Fluid Topics. It is necessary to take into account all points outlined below when integrating Fluid Topics with ADFS.
Verify the maximum authentication lifetime
ADFS requires the value of the maximum authentication lifetime parameter to be set to exactly 28,800 seconds, which is the equivalent of 8 hours.
Configure ADFS to export the Name ID
Fluid Topics requires the authenticated user to be identified by a Name ID. However, ADFS does not send it by default. For more information about how to address this issue in the ADFS console, see this post.
