In the Email service section of the Feedback administration interface, it is possible to select whether the Fluid Topics server sends feedback emails or not.

The Fluid Topics server sends feedback emails by default.

Clearing the check box in the Email service section produces the following results:

  • The "From" address will be that of the user sending the email (e.g., jane.doe@company.com).
  • There will no longer be a "Reply-To" address.
  • When a user attempts to submit feedback, Fluid Topics will not open the Feedback drawer. Instead, the application will ask the user to open their email client and send their feedback as an email.

When an unauthenticated user submits feedback, Fluid Topics always delegates email delivery to the user's email client.
